Might be right, although if it does burst it’s going to be a hell of a bang. Average TV audience for a PL game is apparently 12 million........and that’s with every single game being televised. I travel to Asia a lot, they are completely hooked (partly due to the betting but not exclusively).
Agree, but it’s not rhetoric.......it’s just the current market. Virtually any business will charge what it can get away with.

Be interesting to see a few reactions in the stands when a big club scores. Bound to be a few that switch to their first team.............there are always a few on the concourse (in blue and white) cheering when Chelsea/Man U etc score.
You're right. I'm going to organise a MARCH on the Amex to FORCE the club to REDUCE prices. They'll have no option when they see what we're made of - it'll be Community Rages Against Prices march. That'll learn 'em.
That's the going rate for a Cat A PL game at loads of grounds for home fans, and it's neither ridiculous nor disgraceful when you compare it with other sports/non sports events IMHO. It'll sell out very easily I reckon, particularly as not on UK TV. I'd check what tickets are left but...
