Thing is we all know the way it is - when we moved to Priestfield I spent many a game with a police cameraman no more than 4 feet from my nose. You just pull a funny face for camera and ignore!
So we're back to the it would have been ok to throw a cup of beer over a journalist then?
Trouble is the British police were invited to help co-ordinate responses with any issues with British football fans, so naturally would be filming the British fans - they didn't have the jurisdiction to...
So is the complaint about the FBO itself, or The Albion tagging on the indefinite period onto the end of it? From what you say then they have every chance of being allowed to watch BHA again...
Just as a complete aside, the original statement from BHA says the ban is indefinite - it would appear that some are taking that as meaning lifelong!
My understanding of the word indefinite means that it is for an unspecified period - surely that means an appeal may be possible once the FBO has...
No, my analogy stands. I was simply pointing out that whenever these cases come up that those involved are always "innocent" lovely blokes who wouldn't hurt a fly. I don't know if that is the truth in this case, but do know from my own experience that it more than often isn't the true picture.
The Krays were good to their dear ol' Mum and there was no trouble when they were about... Everyone that gets caught up in this sort of thing is always a paragon of virtue and never a sh1tbag... Just the way it goes!
Never said that, the contention here is that these 5 were fighting. The claim is they were defending themselves, it appears the evidence shows otherwise.
The Coventry City fan is a completely different scenario as this was about violence meted out to him once in police custody and the lies...
The delusion is that people put themselves into situations where they have to "do or die"... Have managed to avoid this situation quite well in my 56 years on this planet!
Do or die, for pity sake that is exactly the sort of statement that gives those that don't like football fans their ammunition.
It's a game of football, not war!
Reconsider what? The 5 involved have a banning order which BHA have just topped up to indefinite... Guess indefinite means they could ask BHA to reconsider once their FBO has expired.
Strange. I have followed The Albion home and away for more years then I care to remember and have never once got in to a fight. Guess that makes me either lucky or a law abiding citizen just supporting my team!
