Wazza doing a quite sensational job and you look at the talent they've let go, the likes of Dwayne Holmes who looks an absolute superstar at Huddersfield, Mason Bennett, Richard Keogh .. They've got a real chance of staying up if they can get a new owner across the line in January.

Further turmoil at Derby. Players turned up this morning and were handed contracts with no wages on, contracts need to be signed by midday tomorrow for them to be eligible to play their opener at Huddersfield on Saturday. What a sorry state of affairs, got to feel sorry for Wazza...

Unbeaten in 4 now for Wazza at Derby. Excellent point at Brentford last night, handled the racism at Millwall excellently at the weekend. Think his reputation and credentials for taking the job permanently are growing by the day.

JT very warm favourite for the gig now and rumoured to be taking Ashley Cole as his assistant, a tad surprising given how JT came out of the Anton Ferdinand documentary and essentially ruined his career but I guess can see why Rio referred to him as a choc ice now.

Glass half full that's two games unbeaten and by all accounts much improved performances than under Cocu. With a large January warchest Wazza can keep you up.

Looks like it's a straight fight between JT and Wazza for the Derby job, both will go onto be excellent managers, be interesting to see who the new owners pick and they are set to be given a £25m warchest in January to keep them in the Championship.

Big Sam would keep Derby up and that's about the best they're going to achieve this season. Relegation for a club of their size and with the incoming massive investment would be a disaster so Big Sam is the steady hand at the tiller they need as a stop gap until they go and get a big name next...
