I recall ours was a few grand. Yes a lot of money back then but between my old man and my uncle they managed to get it together. Nothing like they are today. THAT SAID It put me off the seaside for years and was only when I became an adult I grew to appreciate it again.... .. IN SPAIN.

As did I. We had a beach hut (from the early 70s), when they were affordable. Got buried in shingle during the great storm and that was it.
