Agreed but a) given that Hyppia has publicly stated his support for the player only days ago b) the transfer window is months away c) he played last week then, even if he's lost faith in the player/wants a replacement and has leaked out of the club then its most unlikely or downright incompetent...

That PFA page is most odd given it lists a whole bunch of players who might have been transfer listed at one point up to 6 months ago but are , as of October, no longer transfer listed or have found other clubs than that stated in their "PFA profile".
