I can't see us going for Dack as he hasn't got the pace which seems to be a pre-requisite for Potter. Kamara is an interesting one and something I can see happening.
Naylor has already poured cold water on us going for Bogle, quoting his source " puzzled as to why we were being linked with him...
Interesting that he says he's been following us for a few months, I wonder why that is? Agent may have told him we were interested back then, if so then that was before Potter's time.
We have fought off competition for his signature though? Borussia Monchengladbach were in for him as was Villa and there was interest from Spain as well. Also Arsenal have been scouting him and were touted to be in for him this summer (although looks like they chose Carrasco instead). So yeah...
I think there has to be a balance though. Yes if we play boring football and still win games then yes that would be enough.
However when we were playing very negative (therefore boring) football at home against teams we should be trying to win against, and what your watching actually frustrates...
So looks like from Brussels, all BA flights go to LHR, last one landed around 09:45, so he could be on his way the M25 as we speak....I'm sensing a deja vou moment for some reason.
Hmmmm, so basically if we don't stump up the wages he'll go to Villa. I suppose it wouldn't be classed as a gazumping as it would be our choice to not pay extortionate wages?
Could be bad news if it's true that Arsenal are no longer after Carrasco as too expensive. That could mean them now coming in for Trossard, which is what a lot of their fans want anyway.
hmm not really covered. Izquierdo will be out till the New Year so by the time he is back match fit it will be April. Locadia plays there, just not very well then you have Solly who plays better on the right, and neither Solly or Knockeart look very good on the left.
