I have never heard the word ectomorph. I don't count calories, not a active life either really. I eat plenty of food and mainly snacks.
I just want to stay in the healthy range for my height. I am 5 foot 4 inches, so 7 stone 10 is my lowest weight.
A healthy diet is ideal but it doesn't hurt...

Sugar for people who are underweight is part of a healthy diet. Foods that fatten, leave you feeling too full to be able to eat enough calories. That's why some people need sugar.
