not making it easy for themselves, the Spainish government. heard earlier that if the referendum is a big vote in favour, Catalonia may declare indepedence within 48 hrs. i can only see the current handling of the situation enraging moderate catalans and getting the vote out.

clearly a vote for indepedence doesnt automatically change anything, it would take months, couple of years to actually deliver. even if did happen, the Catalonian clubs are hardly likly to join the Premier, La Liga may well change their mind when they realise the impact, and more likely to join...
