im afraid its fear of this sort of thing that leads to them keeping everyone on the train, rather than the short, if tricky footing walk to the road. as i passed by this morning one train was adjacent to the engineering access stairs, the other maybe a few hundred yards back down the line...
the programme last night highlighted at the beginning that these problems were all there pre-privatisation. the issues yesterday and today, and as i recall most so far this year are down to track infrastructure. so how is renationalisation going to help exactly?
