In all seriousness, he is a very accurate passer which is what we need in a backup QB and is on a cheapish rookie contract.
He didn't play badly last year - we were one game from the Superbowl. If you look at the price QB's are going for at the moment we'd lose all of our cap flexibility.
From what I understand, we structured it like it’s another one year deal so we can get out pretty cheaply next year if he’s no good. Using a high pick in the draft on a QB doesn't make sense as we've got a 2-3 year window to win it now with this D and realistically it’d take a rookie that long...
