Mine took ages to download on the ipad2, not much difference at the moment. The new keyboard is strange and they kind of copied the way my windows phone works in that regard. It suggest words for you but slows down the typing. You can get rid of this. Safari (explorer) is a little different...

It's 859mb space needed for the update, I am trying to update it at the moment and it's taking a long time. You have to request an update, it installed the first time and didn't work and reverted back to the previous iOS. So still trying but will let you know.

That may be why my Apple TV needs an update.
