    [Albion] Premier League 13-15/4/24

I thought the same during his Arsenal time, a head of steam built quickly from fan power. It’s not a fair comparison with Arteta’s time, as they’ve spent £761m on players since. Kroenke was hated by Arsenal fans for not spending, in a volte face in the Arteta era he subsidises the huge spend.

    [Albion] Premier League 13-15/4/24

I had that down as a loss months ago. Threadbare Albion without a proper midfield. Going to be some angry fans expecting a win, sorely hurt.

    [Albion] Premier League 13-15/4/24

Liverpool, Tottenham and Albion all stand out as never coming close to breaking the rules. Whilst others have or are reportedly having to make moves before 30 June to get their houses in order. Arsenal’s an interesting question …. spending £100m’s per season, with zero CL income until now.

    [Albion] Premier League 13-15/4/24

Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, West Ham all lost, Manure outplayed in a draw. Interesting weekend. Two of those can’t use the reason of relative fatigue from their midweek European efforts.
