    [Albion] Joao Pedro Brazilian Maestro

Quality player. [I don’t criticise him for the Wolves game. We were poor all over and it appeared he was asked to play the Mitoma role].

Well done to the laissez faire stewards for not seizing a ‘look at me’ moment.

    [Albion] Joao Pedro Brazilian Maestro

Quality player. Our midfield in the first half wasn’t right, fixed at HT.

    [Albion] Joao Pedro Brazilian Maestro

I think he’s amazing and has been since day one. Pace, direct, quick feet, he makes things happen when we’re one dimensional, and those pens

    Pele, Ronaldo, Zico? :lolol:

I remember Muzza (Withdean) and Berbatov getting slagged off by (just a few) for that very thing. Personally at that time, I thought Muzza was just laid back brilliant.

    [Albion] Joao Pedro Brazilian Maestro

I’ve liked him from the beginning. Direct, incredible pace in an understated Will Buckley way, that scares defences and takes a brilliant pen.

I’d say more for Manure …. the stakes of making Europe, winning at that stage was important, plus in the final seconds. What was special about Pedro this evening was that he’s able to shut out home fan noise and stuff behind the goal, as well as all the cheating - scuffing the pen spot, goalie...

Didn't Mac Allister end up being a great pen taker?

More than just the pens, I rate him. Surprised that many on nsc think he's an awful player.

    [Albion] Joao Pedro Brazilian Maestro

We appeared to miss a season’s worth of open goals today, when it would’ve been easier to hit the net.

The Luton booing really got to him :lolol:

Our recent track record in improving young players, giving them plenty of first team opportunities, must be the equal of anyones. I can only think of Alzate, Lamptey and Connelly who regressed. Shirley their doing? Other clubs it appears to me play the percentages of their best XI or...

Scott’s the business, he should choose us as the perfect club for his development. Fact. But I noticed he’s revered on Top 6 fora, no doubt Smug Eddie/Ashworth have noticed him too.

Our first team ready recruitment won’t stop at Pedro and Milner. Especially if we make Europe. Excited to see who we sign for centre midfield.

    [Albion] Joao Pedro Brazilian Maestro

My thoughts exactly. I’ve not seen anything yet from TL to suggest that he’ll consistently negate opposition threats down our right. Far from it. Veltman and Gross are light years ahead in their defensive abilities.

    [Albion] Joao Pedro Brazilian Maestro

Yeah, he chose THE right club.

I love it when the club acts early. He’ll have a full pre season with us.
