    I learnt that vocabulary in the NS. It must be the reason why I’m the only swearer from a large family. No regrets though .... a down to earth football supporting education.

    An older Albion fan colleague, always told me about a Grummitt save in an away game, the best he’d seen in supporting the Albion since 1960. I can’t remember who the opponents were.

    January 1976, that was my first visit to the Goldstone. Immediately hooked for life. I still have the programme. Their busy goalie later found fame ... Mike Walker.
