I watched both the Leicester and Fulham games this weekend in full.
Bloody hell, shocking defending for all goals conceded. Cocky full backs caught too far forward with no cover, defenders caught (completely pointlessly) the wrong side for defending obvious crosses, feeble efforts to stop...
In the dour times (losses) I join in with the bedwetters, but I feel really confident with so many things coming together for the club. Check out the remaining fixtures for the bottom clubs - hellish.
The bookies/betting public have the following take:
This is not like last year, with the worry. I don’t care if Fulham win today. Brighton will get a load of wins and draws in the very favourable fixtures starting now.
Nice to get your (experienced sporting) view on these incidents. The same as mine.
I’m knew this cheating was here to stay when old school ex players such as Lineker and Shearer joined the bandwagon, with the condoning “entitled” type claptrap.
Practically the last two standing in the media...
Whilst we had our (possibly) joint hardest fixture of the season, Palace, Cardiff and West Ham losing suits me fine.
Keeps cocky wnkr Warnock in his box.
Leicester can’t defend, they’re so thick. Any other away team would have 8 outfield players back in their own half in stoppage time. Will cost Puel his job.
Leicester are so naive down their right, and Wolves know it.
Danny Simpson is pushed so far forward (like Andy Robertson or Matt Doherty, but they cover defence well too), so LCFC are so exposed there, leaving Wolves to target Morgan with pace every time. Caused the third goal.
The recent Ozil contract was madness. With employers national insurance, costing the club £20m per annum, for a player invariably criticised for going absent when up against quality opposition. Equates to the wage cost of 7 Albion PL players.
Harvey Barnes is quality, I watched some of his loan games at WBA.
Since they won the title, many LCFC fans and some players have gone all entitled, ousting managers who don’t perfectly tick every criteria.
Emery was appointed before the summer 2018 transfer window opened.
Or are you referring to something else?
In that R5 discussion last night, I thought they were all largely scathing of Arsenal’s dealings, including post Wenger actions. All big fans of Ramsey, as are Juve, they can’t believe...
