The linesman just handed the three points to Aberdeen.
A minute semi kick out by Morales, as he was subject to a barge. Commentary team said a yellow at most, the linesman gained his fame on SkyTV.
The Gers are away at Aberdeen, game just started.
Goldson, like a quarterback, played a beautiful 70 yard pass to Murphy (I think) who should have scored but screwed it up.
What a pass.
We knew Goldson was good, but I wonder how Rangers found out? They haven't had a recent reputation for scouting great value finds in the English divisions, who then go on to enhance their value at Ibrox. Whilst SG lived in LA, then ran a Liverpool FC age group, I doubt he knew much about a...
They lost 3 CB's this summer - Alves, Bates and Martin, and ManC's Kean turned down their loan offer.
As with the Albion, they need CB cover, in case the excellent Goldson or his CB partner get injured.
I loved Goldson as an Albion player, but if he wants first team action, I think it unreasonable to prevent a move. A career’s too short to be a perennial sub.
Goldson was only 23 then, and according to a radio debate this evening, CB's usually don't know their craft until 26 / 28.
I genuinely always rated Goldson before his health scare.
When we bought Duffy and Hunemaier, I simply thought that's great .... we have 4 quality CB's to cater for...
I, and probably others, always thought that Goldson was quality. Hard to compare, but IMO the equal of Duffy and Hunemaier. But good managers don't mess around with defensive pairings, so Goldson didn't get PL games. Better than just another reserve at the n'th best team.
I reckon great...
Another clean sheet, where Rangers awful defence was their main problem last year.
Amex regulars already knew that Goldson was a quality CB and footballer.
