London, the city that never sleeps. Well according to Luther’s writers.
I noticed that about the light changes.
Plus no one from the 20 odd neighbours looked out or turned lights on from the chaos of shootings, and an army of police.
Whilst the police chief followed a convenient drip drip of...
Mr & Mrs Lake still being alive forms the basis of Luther 6, with Jeremy surviving the BigC. Jointly timed escapes from Rampton and Pentonville, followed by more serial killing.
My thoughts too. They had to create even more ridiculous storylines to maintain a large interest, but it was still worth watching.
Quality acting and presence from Idris Elba, Ruth Wilson and Dermot Crowley.
Just finished. Completely bonkers dual story lines, with multiple murders by Alice, the gangland boss and the husband & wife psychopaths by the day.
But gripping all the same.
Similar plan re all Agatha Christie stuff and versions versions of Sherlock Holmes. Basil Rathbone (1940’s but still great) and the emotionally dark Jeremy Brett were my favourite Holmes’s. Plan to buy some boxsets one day.
I thought Hermione was good in this. From the middle class ms.perfect in Cold Feet, to the middle class latent psychopath in Luther. Plus, you’ll think this is bad taste, I find her attractive.
Ludicrous story lines, a 60’s style gangland boss blasting across a shotgun a Lido, whilst having access to a timed bomb, civvy wearing detectives treading all over fresh crime scenes.
I thought it was excellent drama.
