Putting aside the aesthetics as that is a personal opinion, which form of energy doesn't destroy any wildlife in it's production, installation and operation ( although I'm not sure how wind power does that in it's operation anyway ) ?

Indeed. And even after it's finished they will be a spec on the horizon. You could stand on the seafront and hold a match up and it will cover them. Anyway, there are loads across France and even at Rye and they look magnificent.
