I haven't given too much thought to what my top 10 records of the year would be, but I'm fairly sure Piñata and RTJ2 would both make the top 5.

Had the new Ariel Pink and Hookworms albums on at work today, both promising. Hookworms' seems pretty much a continuation from Pearl Mystic, which is fine by me to be honest. Pom Pom the more instantly satisfying of the two, definitely up there with Before Today based on first impressions...

I've been enjoying it too. Aside from the obvious Feel, Suzie Thumb etc.. (up-tempo fuzzy goodness that you'd expect), Green Belly is the track I keep going back to. Still think the record's maybe a tad too long though.

Eagulls' debut out today. Early frontrunner for me. Also enjoying new Beck, I Break Horses & St. Vincent.

Great find - certainly familiar with the label from a number of superb records last year (Best Friends' "Happy Anniversary" being one of them), and I've just signed up for the free fortnightly track. :thumbsup:
