See, that's the thing, you have watched football when the FA cup was the biggest competition,. You also saw us get to the final. I saw us get to the semi-final under Hughton's second season, one of the worst since league one days.

Not really, the football was awful. Wembley isn't that great either.

I wish it was different, but i'd love to enjoy a cup run. Also, I've only ever seen one run, a few years ago. I have no emotional ties to the competition. Fair play and respect to you if you do, but to me it's the same as the league cup, just a distraction.

We get to the semi, we almost get relegated, Watford got relegated after getting to the Final, after a very good season may i add.

It's more the point i have only seen things go poorly after lifting the trophy if you're not one of the big clubs.

Leicester have been shit this season compared to the last few years.

I've been watching football for 25 years. Only Wigan and Portsmouth have won the FA cup who weren't in European competition already, and things went badly for both clubs. So i have never ever seen the magic of the cup, all i have seen is the big clubs dominate and the smaller ones get punished...

And that is modern football.Replays are gone so there isn't even the benefits for the small clubs either. its a small competition these days.

The FA cup means nothing to me. As does the league cup. nor the Europa league nor the conference league. The prize money is less than the average attendance at the AMEX for each round. Plus nobody outside the European teams win it anyway, if one does, they seem to have financial difficulties...

Probably will, pointless competition.

That was utterly boring. Can we forfeit the game? would be a better result, plus i don't have to watch another half of that.
