Have to agree - Villa are a big team , down on form at present but likely to start rising now bruce is there (unfortunately)
That said 30k is above what I thought we would manage in the modern era. I honestly thought they would struggle to get 22k six years ago, glad I was wrong.
By setting up a system to allow tickets to be re-used which includes STHs to notify them.... they must know how many STHs don't attend each week from the turnstile info.
Then the club needs to do something about the unused season tickets e.g. sell them on behalf of owner and keep half the sale... Then work out if this is viable long term.
Is the demand there which was my first question , did people get turned away? Are free tickets only allocated when it is clear that they can't sell them. As was said later let's see what the villa crowd looks like.
My first point was that the ground was not full and that was not just where SThs did not turn up so we have probably reaching our max for games and the club probably realise that. Secondly they don't need to worry about the STHs as that is revenue already in the bank.
