I'm guessing it's a phrase he has heard a lot from his betters, but to be fair, it's been a tough day today for him.
He didn't want to back up his same job mate, when his mate waded in full on racist (and then tried to backtrack :facepalm:) on the 'Tyrone Mings'...
I'm not being deliberately argumentative (I'm honestly not :lolol:) but increasing welfare payment, extending furlough massively, bailing out everyone instead of limiting it is exactly what we've just done, and was, in my opinion, the correct thing :shrug:

As I mentioned above, I didn't think that was the choice. I thought the choice was clearly a big Johnson majority or a coalition. But we have to make our own decisions and live with the results of those decisions.
And I suspect that given that situation again, we still wouldn't agree :wink:
I agree that the last election wasn't the greatest of choices :wink:, but I'm interested why you think we would have been in a worse situation economically under a Corbyn Government given what Covid has done to the economy anyway.
(And I don't think a Corbyn majority was ever going to happen...
To be fair to Lower West Stander I know a lot of people who are (or were) Tory party members, officials and a few MPs. They were all hardworking, principled people who were doing what they thought was best for the country. A small number are left, out of a sense of loyalty, but most have seen...
I can understand what you are saying, but at the end of the day, it was you (and many others like you) who put Johnson and Cummings into power and are ultimately responsible for what they are currently doing :shrug:
