Good points Roz.
I agree that the match should be played. If it can't be Withdean this year for whatever reasons this year as long as the game is played with 30 players and 30 or so supporters in a Park as a final resort we must do it.
We can then hopefully played REMF 4 next year at Withdean...
The Eaton family are totally behind the annual game and are delighted it is being played at Withdean. They are very apprieciative of everyones efforts and I feel strongly they want this to continue.

I disagree totally with your comments.
We have this year supported 3 local youth football teams, Fishersgate, King George United and Portslade Athletic with new kits and equipment. This has benefitted approx 60 local kids from 5-16.
The main drive/focus for future fund raising and funds...

Good points. I am frustrated as I was told Tuesday 4th May was possible after consultation with the Albion/Stadium manager only to be told yesterday it was not.
However they are being very generous in allowing the facilities and therefore I think we should do everything possible to play...
I would like to keep the continuity of playing at the Albion as it makes it more likely we will get the ground again each year. What do other people think ?.
May 9th is off. I have run out of ideas :shootself
I am trying to get a date which is happy with everyone or the majority and am not trying to offend people. I will leave it for now as I seem to be on a hiding to nothing.
Palace are playing Coventry away which, no disrespect is a mid table end of season game with nothing to play for , for either side.
I have had objections in that some Brighton supporters will be coming back Sunday so its not ideal.
I am fine with Sunday 9th May but we need good numbers and...
I think it is not possible to play the game the night before an Albion game.
To summarise
Friday April 23rd - no good as people going to Bristol for weekend
Saturday Aprill 24th - no good, Albion game
Sunday April 25th - no good, Albion race day
Monday- Thurs - no good, Athletics training...
The whole thing is " a rock and a hard place ". Maybe we could have the game after the first league match of the season on a Friday.
I don;t know, my head is hurting. It seems every date between now and mid may is not possible for various reasons. If anyone can think of a date, Friday-Sunday...
If people plan to go to Bristol on the 23rd this scuppers that date as well.
As much as it pains me I think we may need to put it back to August unless anyone has a bright idea.
Sorry to be a pain but we have a big problem with REMF 3. The dates of offer to us, Tuesday - Friday, 4th-7th May are now not available due to Athletics training having spoken direct to the stadium manager.
He has said the best days are Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Now the problem is , Saturday...
