I think we see club coaches dropping players who are out of form, and picking new players, but country managers don't get the time with the players, so I think they often stick with the tried and tested. Southgate may be worse than most in that regard.
Yes you can. But you said you can't.
I think you meant 'you can't win them all', but you wanted to add draws so changed 'win' to 'not lose' and it doesn't work
'I was right when I said he was crap. I said he needed to sort his final ball out and he'd be good enough, so I'm pleased to see he took my advice' etc etc.
Local, played for us for 10 years, scored the goal that got us to the PL, playing brilliantly in our best ever side.
Not sure why you'd even ask, let alone post a poll.
We should have done the double over Palace this season with both games won by Solly.
My son's birthday last weekend, so we popped to the club shop and he got a March shirt - nice timing before his winner on Wednesday.
None of us saw that. His defenders weren't claiming that he was as good as he's become, they were simply saying he was at PL level and doing a decent job wherever his manager played him, whereas his doubters were saying he wasn't PL standard. They were wrong long before he hit his current level.
Some have always doubted him, some of us have always believed, others are betwixd and between. It's certainly been no picnic for him, but he's played the lions share of our games.
What a tool Souness has shown himself to be. Completely got it wrong and refuses to admit it. Come to think of it, has anyone seen Souness and Husty at the same time?
