    But since we never win appeals for challenges far less deserving of a red (like Murphy falling over and getting a red), I would be pissed off at the injustice. More likely to have the ban extended that the red card withdrawn.

    Not a very natural way to play the ball in that position. I think a red is probably the correct decision.

    I've only seen it from one angle (from behind Mounie), and I couldn't tell whether he was going for the ball or player - from just that one angle, I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. Is there a different angle that shows he wasn't trying to play the ball?
