Seriously? Palace didn't even have a crest until the late 40s, and it was just a plain building. So Palace have actually copied a Brighton team's badge. That's incredible. Why haven't we been taking the piss for this before now?

Indeed. But going along with the stupid comparison - 7,000 (in a stadium that couldn't fit any more) is 35 times Whitehawk's average crowd (200). So if they increase capacity as we have, they should be looking at close to a 1,000 seat stand.

Oh sorry, straight over my head. I thought perhaps the two birds had different feather patterns, that everyone except me knew. I am intrigued that Whitehawk (and it makes sense for them to be nicknamed the hawks) had the emblem first. More ammunition to take the piss out of the chavs with.

Take away the words, and they look the same to me.

Show the two crests to some birdwatchers, and they won't be able to tell you which is which.
