That's genuinely very unfortunate. Club will be damned if they do and damned if they don't acknowledge both. Maybe focusing solely on devoting some space in the programme instead of back-to-back minutes' applause is the way forward. Tricky one.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the inevitable time when we've just embarked on a minute's sombre applause and the Albion score. Might just force us to knock this one on the head, once and for all.

Knocky will be pre-programmed to recognise and acknowledge his now-traditional song. Anything new won't even register. Besides, he'll be WAY too focused on busting the net in memory of his dad. Love the bloke.

It's all organic. It'll either take off at the game in real-time or it won't. Some over-elaborate internet-based thing is doomed to failure. A bit like the NSK really.
