Fantastic. I'm all for it. But the future is people leisurely ambling around narrow streets of interesting shops. There's always Crawley if you love your car more than you love life.

That's the crux, certainly as far as the private motorist is concerned. Its just stupid people jumping in a car for no good reason at all.

It's great walking around the traffic-free North Laine of a weekend. Brighton's a fantastic town for walking around full stop and the more areas closed off to private motorists the better IMHO. :wave:
