Be honest. Have you never gone in the home end of an away match?
My husband was given two free tickets via a salesman at work, for Old Trafford, so we were in the home end. I was in the third tier & didn't ask for a shirt, but I did take photos of the statues outside.
Shoot me now.
I haven't seen one on Twitter apart from moaning from couple of our own fans. You can find mickey takes if you look for them, but I don't.
If you have to, see post #287 for 'revenge'.
I'm sorry but that's nonsense. A shirt from Pele?
Fans were queuing up in 1966 at the various venues to get autographs from players like Eusebio & Pele.
Just think how much they'd be worth now.
Never going for a wee before half time, or the final whistle.
Drinking up & standing in front of your seat before kick off in each half.
Go to all cup games
Sing all the verses to Sussex by the Sea from memory.
Correct. All these easily offended football fans.
I saw Chelsea beat us 4-0 51 years ago, it's football. You learn how to deal with it, whereas the fans now have to whinge & moan on the Internet,
Definition of a plastic fan - watches matches on television & never goes to a match.
Plastics don't pay good money to go to matches.
There are fair weather fans, and there are football fans, who live locally who follow other teams. I have friends who have been to the Amex, from Kent, moved...
Says Mr Outraged of Grimsby (ok Derbyshire).
They've paid their money, you don't know them, but still having a hissy fit about it. How do you know what they want it for?
Both valid reasons. You might not like it, but that's reasonable.
What's that got to do with a kid getting a shirt? I did think it was in the away end, but he's a kid for goodness sake.
