The difference between Ince in his first couple of games, and his most recent couple of games (confidence, back-tracking, timing of tackles, staying on his feet, quality of passing, movement, vision etc.) is astonishing, especially considering there's only been about 10 games in between.
Nope. We signed him as a free agent in February.
Curiously, the same members of the ignorati used to say the same about Liam Bridcutt (i.e. former/current Chelsea loanee). :facepalm:
He carried the whole team in the first half.
One thing about playing him alongside Liam Bridcutt seemed to be that he was pushed forward - more to where JFC was playing - and he didn't seem quite so comfortable there.
Just reading through the posts, and was just about to post that no-one had mentioned that.
Stayed on his feet at almost every occasion, and it paid off for him.
