Putting an asking price on a player that's already been bandied about both for him and Rice etc and not preparing for his departure is absolutely nuts, especially given it was clear he wanted to leave.
Mac did two things exceptional well that we are hugely missing. Recycling the ball and making huge amounts of blocks and tackles. At both of those things he is World class- getting the ball in tight spaces, beating the first man, making the right pass. Getting his foot or body in.
Obviously it's...
This season looks like a Potter team.
Think about all those chances we were creating last season, from all over the field. Ripping teams to shreds. Sadly that's because we've been found out and RDZ has to work out how to change things. We aren't Man City.
I'd argue in most first 45s this season we've been poor-awful and RDZ has got it wrong. So much to like about him but it's becoming a worrying trend. I think we all knew this season would be tough but I'm not sure we are helping ourselves.
I totally agree on the second point. We were so fluid and organised last year but we've really struggled this season. Yes we've got some decent points on the board and had a couple of really good wins but it's night and day in terms of rhythm and style.
