You have systematically broken down and analysed all my posts on here, almost line by line and obsessed over a point you have misunderstood. You're boring me now. Layers, players.
. I said there is no queuing for drinks on the downs. You could if you want take drinks on to the downs, you would not have to queue to drink from your own backpack. I doubt you can take drinks onto the tower
However the wasn't really my point. It's like saying I prefer to go to the beach than...
I really wasn't implying people would be queuing for drinks on the downs. My point, which I think you know, is that it's a 20 min ride, potentially 200 people on board, if you want a drink you'll be stood with your back to the view , waiting.
I'll give you the second point but there are definitely people queuing / waiting to be served in the other pic. It takes 200 people. Even if only 20 of them wanted a drink they are going to have to wait I would think.
Take a walk on the Downs, the views are better, you can see much more, it's free, you get some exercise, you can experience something for yourself rather than experiencing someone else's vision while lining their pockets. And you don't have to queue at a bar with your back to the scenery...
You are quite right. Some of the Brighton seafront is in an appalling state. There really is much better projects the money should have been spent on. A modern sport and fitness complex perhaps? There's a few structures along this stretch of coastline that can be seen for miles. None are...
It's just another dick waving architecture project. Yes, yes, it's the tallest slimmest thingamebobby ever built, it is shiny and tall and simply amazing. You know what else is simply amazing? The natural Sussex coast skyline with the Downs sweeping in behind. Without a big, useless pole poking...
It fits in with the Brighton seafront to an extent. It may even be described as a boon to the landscape.......of Brighton. Unfortunately you can see it far and wide and from where I live it just looks like a factory chimney adding to an increasingly cluttered skyline.
I know. It's an accepted fact that The South Downs National park is a dump.
I have however changed my mind about not going on it. It seems it will be the only place you won't have to actually look at the eyesore.
I try not to let the terror threat get to me, I largely feel very safe in my normal comings and goings. However unlikely statistically the tower is to be attacked it, to me, looks like a glaring target to some IS nutter or whatnot. In the news at the New Year it mentioned Brighton was found on a...
With the state of Europe at the moment, you won't catch me up in that anytime soon.

I was quite looking forward to it being done but now the main bit is up I'm not impressed. From up close it is quite impressive I must admit but from a distance, where I live, it is just a big sticky up thing in a skyline being increasingly cluttered with sticky up things. Meh.
