Yes they did and they gave them a bloody good game. I remember watching it in a Holiday Inn in Stoke-on-Trent shortly after we'd got smashed 3-0 by them.

A good point - Paul Raynor, Evans's assistant manager for a some time - has not covered himself in glory in the last few years either. The saying 'chip off the old block' could have been made for those two.
