Haven't heard but I imagine he'd be delighted to be a Premier League keeper and we won't want to waste £££ signing a backup keeper. Luton/Southend to top division is a pretty big step up. I doubt Walton will be first team squad next season.

He'll win player of the season and rightly so. Then he'll either stay with us or go to warm the bench at a Prem london club. I wouldn't blame him if he fancied a mahoosive pay rise but would prefer him to represent us at the top level.
