I was and am a big Wilson fan and though I absolutely think he could do us a job scoring 10 goals+ this year. But we can do better. We can afford someone proven and someone we can have confidence will play 30+ games without being sick on the pitch and then confined to 10-15 minute bursts for months.

On that point, we agree.

Wilson got 5 goals for us last season. That's double Baldock's tally. And he featured in less games. That's tantamount to saying you'd have JFC over Vicente. Plus Baldock's injury record is not as you claim. I'd have Wilson on his death bed over Baldock any day.
