I've been to Kiel twice. Out of the 20 or so German cities I've been to, it is probably the ugliest one I've been to. The night-life is pretty nice, vibrant and cheap since the city is infested with students and that was fun for me as I was around 25 (fecking 8 years ago...) when I went there...
