Yup. No points in masks.
No one is wearing them here and we have the lowest number of ICU patients per million in Europe. Part of the reason is probably that we dont wear masks: no false sense of security and no unnecessary touching in the face to correct masks.

Anyway, I agree that both ways are too simplistic and flawed.
Here scientists made the call that if you wear or put on the mask in a correct way, it might help, while doing it incorrectly poses a risk.
Never been mandatory here and impact appears to be limited.
I'd say currently maybe 2% wear them when shopping in Sweden, and out of those 2% the vast majority are Asians who might have worn it with or without this pandemic.
