We have a squad more than capable of staying in the Prem, and watching us tonight at times, and last weekend, passing the ball at pace with confidence is something I have never seen from a Brighton team, even back in the halcyon days of the late 70s. I am not targeting players as such, I am just...
I can only think two things Phil.
1. He's not confident in his full back
2. The manager has told him his first port of call is his defensive stint.
Now... before I get my throat jumped down again, that is fair enough, but if no.2 why sign a full back you are not 100% confident in?
If no.1 then...
The side he is supposed to boss. He is, after all our left back. And after all both goals came from plays where we play tight in the penalty area and he didn't step up to it. But I am also going back to the past few games where March has spent a bulk of his time defending as a left back. I hope...
You see... they were only piss poor from a Brighton supporters point of view. Funnily enough, we seem to be alone in the bitterness, well, I'm not, I am seeing improvements in our pass and movement, how we set up like we did against Man City in the first half and opened up a bit in the second...
Not at all, I think we're growing into this league, and the January market will still be there. I can see, possibly, Propper playing a more forward role when all our midfielders are fit again, and who knows, Baldock, if he is ever fit (Anderton comes to mind) could do a great job, possibly.
