Ah, so you are confirming that players don't know when the right time is to shoot, so we are in fact helping them out. The fact that they are more likely to Elphick it into orbit is a shame though.

Do you know what, I reckon I've seen, on more than one occasion, over the years when an impatient crowd shouts "SHOOT" that a player does indeed shoot, normally with Lee Steelesque Row Z consequences, but yes, they do shoot. Not sure I can recall a goal coming from such a shout, but deffo a few...
