mmm, discount code "AUG25", there is a clue in there somewhere ??? This month it is "UKPOST" for free postage in the UK and "WORLDPOST" for overseas order.
As for the number, why would I lie to you? I can assure you, Toffs have told me that is how the number is done on this shirt.
The Yellow one has been requested, the guy I speak with there is a Middlesbrough fan, so he is keen to put the Yellow shirt on as they have loads of Toon fans about the place.
I'll try my best HCQ.
1) At the moment the Toffs discount code is "Free P&P in September. Use code "UKPOST" from within the UK and "WORLDPOST" for outside of the UK."
2) Not 100% if it will be sold by the club yet.
30 Toffs stitch on the numbers, for striped shirts this will probably be sewn...
Does anyone have any colour images of the yellow Bukta shirt? I'm in reasonably regular contact with Toffs on other matters, but I can always put this to them.
Some good news on this for those who are interested. Toffs have come to an agreement with the Albion and this shirt, the 1977/78 version with the filled in collar, will shortly be going on sale.
Update from Toffs regarding the Bukta repro shirt
"We're still working on this Phil. Sometimes it can be a long process as we like to get every detail correct as well as all the appropriate business and legal procedures which we won't go in to because they're boring and long!"
The open collar was what most of the Brighton Bukta shirts had, the versions I have are all that way, until Goldstone Rapper pointed it out I hadn't seen it with a closed collar. badcollector
Here is their new Blyth Spartans version, with a more suitable collar for ours?
As I do speak to them quite often, should I put it to them that this collar (in blue of course) be the prefered one for the Brighton version?
The matchworn one I have has a printed Bukta logotype, and an embroidered badge, perhaps there were 2 types of player spec shirt, as there were 2 types of replicas.
I shall forward the suggestions made here about white rings, short sleeves etc. .
Makes you wonder doesn't it, I have a matchworn one, and it's exactly the same material, albeit with short sleeves. They must have worn vests underneath their shirts back in them days.
