    On June 20th which is the longest day of the year, this year - I am running 24 miles in 24 hrs. Not too difficult. But the challenge is to run 1 mile every hour on the hour for 24 hours. Should be fun?

    3:59.01 for me which I was very pleased with. Fast times are behind me, as I am running 100 marathon races in 100 weeks. This was the 54th in week 54. Next week Vienna!

    This morning I ran Sussex Trail event - The Hard 13 from Clayton, up to South Downs Way, east to Housedon Farm & back. Was sunny & very warm out there. Finished 22nd in 2:10.     enjoyed the Worthing 1/2, first 7 miles round the town, then 3 miles out & back. Cold & breezy but very flat. Did in 1:40. Garmin said 13.2m. Good training run for #92 marathon in 2 weeks. Well done Worthing, you put on a good event

    Today there were 109 runners at Hove Prom, 323 Preston Park & 432 Hove Park = 864. Will be interesting to see how numbers fair next Saturday when we will have Bevendean as well.

    hello from the marathon thread - as this weekend, I'm stepping down. Preston Park run tomorrow & Sussex Half Marathon on Saturday. There is a marathon (twice round), but using the 1/2 as a training run for Dublin marathon in 2 weeks time. So what runs are my fellow NSC runners doing this weekend?

    did my inaugural Hove seafront 5k. Usually run Preston Park or Hove Park. Pleased I did as got my best time in 7 years, 20:45. Ok it was flat, weather conditions fab, but when you are 48 years old, I'll take it!
