In attack of the mugs.
Even seeing Stephens as a 'crab' he was a bloody good crab who performed his duties well.
Certainly better than dipshit mugs would have you believe.
I've moved away from King of the Mugs, sat behind me.
Having listened to 2 seasons of shite from him I now am a little sad I can't wallow in his silence.
That said we now look down on our old seats and it appeared to be MILF central down there.
It's as if the club has realised the awkward oaf...
March as a wing back has been mooted for quite some time by plenty of posters.
I know that for a fact because every time I read it I instantly thought:-
'bollox, you clearly don't know shite'.
I'm so glad we've had a small move of seats for this season.
For the last 2 we have sat directly in front of Stephens & Bong's biggest and loudest critic.
Some other poor bugger will have to put up with "forward Stephens" & "why can't you defend", bellowed a 100 times every game.
Agreed, seemingly most of us are talking around the same point.
I'm sure Potter will want a player to perform a Stephens type role.
Hopefully that player will be further up the pitch.
In some games that player might not have to be so much of an 'enforcer'. (although that's me getting a little...
Because it's already been explained.
Mooy plays considerably further up the pitch than Stephens.
He spends more time in the opposition's half than his own.
That doesn't sound like a direct replacement for Stephens to me.
My take on that was 'who are you going to replace him with for 'only' £3m?'.
Admittedly I was coming at that from a just how ludicrous is football finance stance, but the point still stands.
£3m was taking the pi$$ for our second best central midfielder, and yet plenty wanted the cash.
