It's a shame the club spend so much time fire-fighting fan's concerns, that any other issues, like the footy, become secondary. There must be a philosophical concept similar, or a Greek tragedy along the same lines?
There was some dissent, so he responded to that. Then there was a bigger amount of it, so the response got bigger. Then the dissent got even larger, and the response got even larger. Etc., etc! Think of a graph of y = x squared and you'll get the gist...
It seems your views are as blinkered as the ones from other fans that you don't agree with. Everyone's view is as valid as the next person's. Just because we don't sometimes agree with something, it doesn't make it wrong (IMHO of course...)
I think you will find PB very much does get it, and understands football is like no other business, where if the product is crap, no one buys it. Football must have have the biggest 'brand' loyalty of any industry, and PB most definitely knows this, and plays on it...
