    Because you can’t run a VPN from a fire stick. Only other way would be if you could run a VPN from your router directly (unlikely)

    To be fair that’s not entirely true. Internet service providers can quite easily tell who has been watching them from a user perspective.

    Can’t see how they sticks up in court. Guaranteed convictions for those providing the streaming services either directly or by selling fire sticks etc, but going after individuals - waste of time
