I was glad to see his remarks on the need to keep schools open. The thing that worries me most about his party is the authoritarian streak, so the more he argues against those who want to close down everything the more I like him.

Not too bad, I thought. The government are trying to steer a line still somewhat like Germany - with a few more restrictions than them - and not at all like the more authoritarian latin European countries. I think it is a reasonable set of measures and probably sensible on the run up to Christmas.
Be interesting to see what the law actually says this time - hopefully it will explicitly allow more outdoor exercise.
I also have a very ill relative - and so hopefully the rules are on hospital/hospice visiting will allow some contact.
