Rare example of a rounded bell tower in Sussex I believe. Think there are only 3 in the whole county, This one, St Michael in Lewes and St Peters in Southease, must be a ink as they are all close to each other.
There's over 500 Churches in Sussex, some go back to Norman times, some have historic links and famous people interred there. Some of my favourites are Berwick, Rodmell, Streat and most recently stumbled across Shipley Church of St Mary which has links to the Knights Templar.
