    Oscar has lost the fans

Right now it's dull because we can't score, but over the course of the season it's really not been much different to the football under Poyet.

I doubt he was contacted until well after Poyet left - maybe late May? And then as you say, no time to assess players in June anyway as they will have been on holiday. The point is that if you don't think Garcia's pre-season was disrupted then you need your head seeing to. So just that small...

    Oscar has lost the fans

Our season ended 13th May, he was brought in on 26th June and the season started 3rd August. So having not been here for the first 7 weeks of the close season, he had 5 weeks to assess his squad and a further 3 weeks to actually bring players in if he deemed some of those not good enough...

I can't disagree with what you're saying. He hasn't had it at all hard at all. But it's worth bearing in mind that Poyet guided a team of his own payers to 4th. We then had a messy close season before OG came in, lost our best player to Sunderland, and had horrific luck with injuries to our...

He clearly hasn't had one hand tied behind his back, but equally he hasn't had the chance to bring in his own players.

There are too many people on this thread not being careful enough about what they wish for. I'm not saying it isn't disappointing, but lets give the manager a full close season to bring in his own men eh? Have a rant about the performance by all means but it's way too early to want him out...
