I suspect that there'd be an enormous overlap between people currently calling for Barco to be thrown in, and people writing Barco off after a single appearance if he (entirely reasonably) didn't play well.
Maybe, but having read most of the thread I gather we're now totally doomed and won't even make it to the end of the season before being disqualified from the Premier League and Football League for being excessively shit.
To take Mitoma specifically, he's not played any FA Cup games and only one league cup game this season (not sure how the number of matches in the league would compare at the same stage to last season), so he's not even played 6 extra games for us overall.
He's missed a decent number of matches...
Wouldn't it be cheaper to use the forewarning to prevent the injury from happening?
