Last year I was able to get a ticket for the game at Chelsea between Christmas and New Year, as a member. Last year year there might still have been some covid effect, but it doesn't really surprise me that this hasn't sold out quicker.
To be clear, I'm not implying anything, I'm giving my opinion based on my uniformly negative experiences there.
I'm sure it's entirely adequate as a place to live, and in the same way as a hostage might grow fond of their kidnapper, you've presumably developed some sort of twisted attachment to...
Boxing day, or otherwise between Christmas and New Year, seems to be my only chance of an away game south of Leicester.
Managed to get to Chelsea last season, hopefully we go one better this time and get a win.
Just in case anybody's still in any doubt, I really hate Southampton as a place.
Is that to say, it's all on fire?
Seriously though, if there are 600 tickets left this stands to be my most positive Southampton experience since the last time I left Southampton.
Christ I hate Southampton.
I'm feeling quite zen about this.
If I get a ticket I'll get to see my team play on Boxing Day.
If I can't, I don't have to go to Southampton.
It's win win.
