Only 28 - and was class at times before injury - was hoping he’d be given another chance as cost a lot but guess wages were big really. I guess he’s not shown enough post injury in training. Thanks for the memories Jose.

I thought after his setback he hadn’t played for u23 since so would be very surprising - maybe he’s been ripping it up in training and seems fit. Or we’ve got more injuries :facepalm:

Those who aren’t in squad don’t turn up til later so the fact he’s turned up with the rest of the playing squad could mean he’s on the bench...

He hasn’t played first team football yet since coming back - he’s not worth much at the moment as an asset as nobody will pay out for him until he proves fitness - give him a chance.

My eyes at the Amex say he’s there today which is interesting - with the squad. Not sure he’ll be in the squad as hasn’t played much but hopefully it’s near....

Yeh I mean fit to train ie not injured. Icy Gull - I think we will but it remains to be seen how it affects him - like LuaLua after Hartlepool - we’ll need to be patient with him.

So he’s fit and ready for pre season right? Been far too long - good on him.

Heard he had an operation when back from World Cup but was obviously kept quiet if indeed true. Makes sense though.
